Read MoreMay 20, 2017 marks the 4th Annual Farm Day, a statewide movement to honor farmers and encourage families to visit and thank those who work hard to grow our local produce. This statewide effort is a collaboration of over 30 farms and 50 farmers markets with support from Edible Hawaiian Islands, FarmLovers Market, Kohala Village Hub, Ocean Vodka and RedBarn Farmstand.

Read MoreLast month our team and their families headed to Kipahulu for the day to volunteer at Kapahu Living Farm and help dig out their taro patch and get fresh water flowing. The Kipahulu ʻOhana is a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching Hawaiian traditions through hands-on classes and demonstrations. Since 1995 they have been sharing native Hawaiian practices in Kipahulu to residents and visitors.

The restaurant will feature cooking from scratch inspired by and primarily sourced from our certified organic farm and ranch located in Hāna, East Maui, as well as a small market where guests can purchase fresh produce from the farm.

And of course, our team was not afraid to jump right in and get our hands dirty!
